We’re a couple of days past the Sagittarius Full Moon. With its strong aspects to Saturn and Neptune, we may be feeling emotionally heavy. Saturn is the weight of time and responsibility. Neptune, however, is the sacrifice that life sometimes demands from us.
Overshadowed by Jupiter’s arrival in Libra was the last of three squares between Saturn and Neptune, two planets that couldn’t be more different. If Saturn is the physical world and our mastery over it, then Neptune is its slow erosion.
As Jupiter comes to its final hours in Virgo, we’re feeling the crunch — especially with the Moon in Sagittarius today. What do your need to clean out? What is your limit? Your boundary? What are you saying no to? Is it too late to start juicing?
Yesterday we talked about Neptune and its supporting role not only in the astrology of this year — Saturn and Neptune have been in a long dance with each other — but how Neptune has been playing off of Mars as well. As a result, we’re diving deep into an existential crisis.

Today our gal Venus says goodbye to Gemini, a sign that she’s known to have a bit of fun in, and checks into Cancer for a four week stay. Cancer is the sign of home, family, roots, emotions, and the mother. It’s the first water sign and in it we discover our primal emotions.
Tomorrow, Saturn and Neptune will make an exact square, the second of three contacts. If Saturn is matter, the physical world, structure, and achievement, then Neptune is spirit, the non-physical world, mysticism. We are battling divine needs vs. our own.
We’re in the midst of something called a “mutable cross,” the planets bunched up in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. The mutable signs fall right before the start of a new season; they are inherently about transition, movement.
The full moon is also right on Mars, making something that we call a conjunction in astrology. This is a bit of an angry or in-your-face placement for Mars, like someone, out of no where, telling you how they really feel. And seeing how Mars is retrograde, we have something to work out from the past.
