Welcome to Scorpio Season! We’re stepping into a sign that teaches us all about the cycle of death and rebirth. Here in the northern hemisphere it’s a time when the days grow colder, the nights longer. The veil thins between this world and the next.
Of course Scorpio is more than death and rebirth. Ruled by Mars, Scorpio is the bravery to confront and transform life’s emotional challenges. It’s the sign that brings us into the world of the psyche, the shadow, and the alchemy that occurs when we search into the hidden parts of ourselves. It’s power and wealth. But it’s also manipulation, obsession, and annihilation.
With Mars in Libra until November 19, much of this Scorpio Season points us towards relationships. We’ve already done our workout during Libra Season with it’s many ups and downs. How do we have the bravery to take the next step? The power to reform or transform something that’s long needed to change?
Lastly, Scorpio is a sign that reminds us that life is about choices. And we can use Scorpio’s power to destroy or to heal and transmute. With Mars coming up to a square to Saturn in Capricorn on October 27 and we may have a serious decision to make, one where we need to hold ourselves or others accountable.
