We start the week with an Aquarius Moon, one that’s connecting us with friends and community. We’re also at the first quarter moon and whatever was seeded with the October 27 Scorpio New Moon kicks into gear.

That’s what new moons do. They open up a new chapter that unfolds over the coming four weeks. Sometimes we’re not sure what’s opening up for us, but we can feel a shift in energy or even a shift in narrative

This past new moon ushered in a lunar month that was seeded with the energies of Uranus in Taurus. And over the coming four weeks, something is illuminating, awakening, and shaking us from the comfort of the status quo. We need Uranus. It keeps things fresh and pushes us to grow and seek new ways of thinking if life has become stale.

So, keep an eye on what’s unfolding today. How is it opening up your eyes? Helping you to see yourself or life in a different way? With the Moon in Aquarius, we have help in seeing things from a wider vantage point. Aquarius, after all, is a sign that helps us to look towards the future.

Another thing brewing is an intense square between Mars and Pluto that peaks into tomorrow. With Mars, the ruler of Scorpio, in Libra right now, we may be feeling strong emotions or feelings as a result. Mars and Pluto together have a bit of a reputation in astrology, but it’s an aspect that has an iron will. It can move mountains if it sets its mind to it. What mountains are we moving today?

I’ll be talking about this and more on my weekly Facebook Live today at 5:30 pm EST. (2:30 pm Los Angeles, 10:30 pm London, 9:30 am Sydney on November 5, and 11:30 am Auckland.) If you can’t join me live, please watch the replay on my Empowering Astrology YouTube channel.
