We’ve got a couple of Venus aspects to take us into the weekend, highlighting the importance of our interpersonal relationships. But what happens when there’s pain holding us back from connecting? Fear of rejection?
As she comes to the last stretch of Sagittarius, Venus will touch on Chiron and Uranus — planets that speak to emotional and psychic knots as well as consciousness and liberation respectively. Chiron is a newer addition to astrology. Discovered nearly 40 years ago, it shows where we have work to do. There’s something that we feel personally — a pain, a trauma, a feeling of isolation or rejection — that is also part of the universal experience of humanity. Chiron is a knot and when we open the knot, we open the knot for everyone who suffers from that knot.
Venus will make a trine to Uranus as well. There’s a breakthrough available for us, a push to leave something behind, to seek freedom, and have an opening of consciousness. Jupiter in Libra is pushing us to connect to others; we just have to clear out what’s in the way.
