Aries Moon gets things moving today, especially with Mars in on-the-go Gemini. It’s all about communication, information, and ideas. That said, we’re in the dark of the moon, the last days of the lunar month when it’s more about reflection than action.
Yes, we’re only a few days from the Taurus New Moon, a time in the lunar calendar when we turn our attention to physical world, from money and making sure we have the resources we need to themes of value, fertility, and abundance. Taurus is the first earth sign and it’s the sign that puts us in touch with the ground beneath our feet.
Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is still in Aries, however, and it’s making a series of pointed aspects to Saturn, Pluto, and the Lunar Nodes this week and into next. Value and worth may be striking a nerve right now. We may be also wondering if we have enough, if we’re safe, if we can trust, if the ground beneath our feet is secure?
Speaking of Saturn, I’ve been calling this week Saturn week because the planet of discipline and responsibility is strong in the sky right now. Mercury squares off with Saturn today, so it’s important to take our words as well as our choices seriously today.
I’m actually a big fan of Saturn because you know what it wants — for us to do the right thing, to grow up and grow wiser. Like a personal trainer, it’s has a bigger goal in mind and it’s tough loving us to work hard towards those aspirations. We can all do better and it’s a day to take a critical eye to ourselves and our surroundings and see where we there’s room for improvement.
