Welcome to Aries Season! It’s officially the first full day of spring, a time for new beginnings, renewal, and fresh starts. Mind you, this isn’t your usual Aries Season. With Mars in Capricorn meeting up with Saturn and Pluto, we’re navigating major world issues.
Yes, we currently have four planets (and the South Node) in Capricorn. That’s a lot of emphasis on the sign of government, structure, matter, and manifestation. Pluto’s been taking swings at Capricorn since 2008, but the last two weeks, with Mars on key points in Capricorn, we saw things go to the next level. So, what do we do?
One of the things my spirit guides have been talking to me about lately is how big events like this are meant to shake and shift our awareness. It’s meant to show us what really matters and to have greater consciousness about our choices and how our choices impact each other.
That said, Saturn is getting ready to leave Capricorn at 11:58 pm EDT tomorrow after a two and a half year stay. It’s as if one of the big hands on the cosmic clock will start to point to a new time — Aquarius time. With Saturn in Aquarius, we’re entering a new hour, one that will underscore how important it is to work together to strengthen our social bonds, our communities, and find our humanity. In the meantime, Saturn’s still at the last few minutes of Capricorn today. We’re feeling its pressure, its push for us to crystalize and bring into deeper focus what we’ve learned about ourselves and our lives since the start of 2018. There’s a certain part of our lives that, under Saturn’s watch, we’ve had to build and even rebuild in the last two years.
