Welcome to March! It’s Pisces Season and we’ve reached the end of our zodiac journey. Pisces forms the bridge between worlds. It’s intuition and spirituality. It’s dreams and meditation. Deeply compassionate, Pisces helps us to forgive and let go of the past.

This month we’re at a crossroads, on the cusp of one chapter and poised to enter a new one. On March 21, Saturn enters Aquarius for the first time since 1994, a major shift for everyone. As the master time keeper of all the planets, Saturn is telling us that it’s time to turn our focus to a new area of our lives.

Saturn makes time evident, whether it’s through the process of aging or the arc narrative of our lives. When we look back we can see Saturn at work and, in particular, when we look back to the start of 2018, we may see a change or the seeds of change that unfolded in the two years following.

Depending on where Capricorn is in your chart, that area of your life has seen a lot of hard work over the last two years. And the first few weeks of March may push us to consolidate and bring this hard work into form and focus. If Saturn also represents lessons, what lessons have we learned since 2018? (See Saturn in Capricorn: Sign by Sign for your curriculum.)

Despite Saturn dominating the astrology this month — think accountability, balance, scrutiny, and commitment — there’s other things going on. Mercury turns direct on March 9, drawing to a close its retrograde in the sign of Aquarius. We may get a new perspective or a flash of insight as it does.

A Virgo Full Moon, also on March 9, puts the spotlight on health and wellness, service and dedication. It’s a full moon to review our goals for this year and the practice and skill needed to achieve these goals. An opposition to Neptune also speaks to need to heal and forgive in order to move forward.

By March 16, Mercury returns to Pisces and we’re back in a time where our thoughts and decision are more intuitively than logically driven. We’re also returning to events and decisions from early February when Mercury first entered Pisces.

Then on March 19, the Sun enters Aries and we kick off a new season as well as the equinox. Here in the northern hemisphere it’s the first day of spring. (In the southern, it’s the first day of autumn.) With equal parts day and night, it’s a reminder to find balance as well as enjoy the Aries energy of renewal and new beginnings, especially after the Aries New Moon on March 24

But the main event this month is Saturn in Aquarius on March 21, kicking off a new two and a half year chapter. While Saturn will only be in Aquarius for a few months, before retrograding back into Capricorn on July 1, we’re getting a preview. Pay attention to the new stories emerging, the people we’re meeting, the events unfolding. They’ll thread their way through the next couple of years, into 2023.

To get you all ready for Saturn in Aquarius, I’m teaching a webinar on March 12, giving you an overview as well as a sign-by-sign look at what we can possibly expect into 2023. And since Saturn sets the curriculum, we’ll also look at how to work with its lessons. Details and registration here.

Aries

March 21–April 19

Aries Glyph

Think back to the start of 2018, Aries. That was when Saturn arrived in your career sign of Capricorn for a two and a half year stay. When you look back, maybe you’re seeing a theme emerge. You changed jobs. You started a new career. You worked hard and took on more responsibility. You received a promotion. You navigated professional ups and downs. Maybe you even lost a job and had to figure out what your next steps were. Ultimately what Saturn has wanted from you during this chapter of your life is to figure out who and what you want to be when you grow up — doesn’t matter if you’re 25 or 65. It’s been a chapter to set goals for yourself and to hold yourself accountable. So, how have you done? In March you have a personal meeting scheduled with Saturn, who’s going to get out its clipboard and start going down the checklist of all the things you were supposed to achieve during this time. Figure out your professional life? Check. Commit to the right career path? Check. Hold yourself accountable? Check. At least that’s the idea. The first few weeks are one of your last chances to really push yourself towards those bigger goals, so use this time wisely. With Mars also in Capricorn this month, it’s doubly important. That said, March is also Pisces Season, so you’re also pulling back from the world, reflecting, meditating, resting, and recharging. As much as you’re trying to build and achieve in March, you’re also letting go and releasing. It’s also a time to focus on your health, both body and soul, especially with the Virgo Full Moon on March 9. Use the full moon to schedule an annual check up, go back to the gym, or make a positive change in your diet or daily habits. It’s also a good time to resolve to break attachment and addictions. When the Sun arrives in Aries on March 19, it’s the start of your season and the kick off of new personal year. You may be feeling more energized, yet you’re in hustle mode as Saturn reaches the last minutes of Capricorn and gives you some feedback on your hard work. When Saturn changes signs on March 21, it arrives in Aquarius, your sign friendship, community, and social networks. Over the coming three months, while Saturn previews Aquarius — it will return to Capricorn on July 1, 2020 — you’ll start to see that your friendships and social network will demand more attention. Saturn will be scrutinizing the people you’ve allied yourself with. It will be checking to see if your friends are really your friends all so that you will build stronger friendships and connections over the coming years. If friendships have been something you’ve struggled with, then Saturn will push you to find new allies and groups to join. Keep in mind that Saturn’s arrival in Aquarius plants a seed and starts a story that will unfold and build until March 2023 when Saturn arrives in Pisces. Pay attention to what’s going on at the end of this month and into April, especially as Mars arrives in Aquarius on March 30 and meets up with Saturn on March 31. It’s the start of a new time in your life. Listen to what Saturn is trying to teach you. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: Work, career, responsibility, achievement, goals, professional life, worldly life, growing up, getting older, place in the world, status, direction, milestones, friends, community, social networks, social connection, groups, clubs, social causes, politics, activism, rest, retreat, reflecting, shedding the past, recharging, spiritual life, meditation, spiritual health, physical health, diet, fitness, nutrition, taking care of the body, daily tasks, personal rituals, schedule, projects, discipline, new beginnings, new start, renewal.

Taurus

April 20–May 20

Taurus Glyph

What do you believe in? Have you traveled the world? Explored? Do you still have faith? Faith in yourself? Faith in others? With Saturn wrapping up a two year stay in Capricorn, it’s important to look back at your life since the start of 2018. Saturn tests. It pushes. It wants you to commit and build. Since Capricorn is your sign of truth, wisdom, travel, and higher education, you’ve been working hard to figure out what your truth is, to define what is right and wrong, and to cultivate knowledge over the past two years. This Saturn phase of your life isn’t like others. It’s less tangible. How do you measure faith? How do quantify wisdom? As you step into March, this time of exploration and study draws to a close — at least for now. It’s as if to say that you’ve been in university the past couple of years and now you’re preparing for finals before graduation. Will you pass? That said, Venus, your ruling planet, returns home to Taurus on March 4, bringing you back to yourself. As the sign of material pleasure, fertility, worth, and money, it’s a month to enjoy what makes you you (good food and an appreciation for the finer things in life). That said, let’s not forget that Uranus has been in Taurus since March 2019 and your life may have been turned upside down a little since then. As much as you’re in a phase of life where you’re reinventing yourself and shaking up the status quo (or having that done to you), Venus’s arrival and Taurus and its meetup with Uranus on March 8 is a reminder of how much has changed in a year as well as push to make more personal changes and reinventions. Then on March 9 a full moon lights up your sign of creativity, self expression, and identity, another reminder for you to figure out and celebrate who you really are. Keep in mind that Uranus in Taurus is, at its core, all about you getting to the heart of who you truly are and having the courage to leave behind anything that’s been holding you back or restricting you. The Sun’s arrival in Aries on March 19 and the Aries New Moon on March 24 brings you to a season of rest, reflection, and recharge. (Not the words you normally equate with Aries, but Aries is your 12th House, your house of spirituality and letting go.) But the marquee event for March is Saturn’s arrival in Aquarius on March 21, your sign of career and ambition. Although Saturn will only be in Aquarius until July 1 — a three month preview of 2021’s main event — it’s preparing you for a new chapter in your life, one where you’re going to have to answer a simple question: What do you want when you grow up? The next few years may bring career milestones and achievements … provided that you work hard for them. But it’s a time when your professional life needs to come together into something solid. And if that’s an area of your life that hasn’t been so solid, get ready to start working hard. (I’ll be talking more about this in my Saturn in Aquarius webinar on March 12. Details and registration here.) By 2023, you’ll have committed to your professional path or ready to show the world that you’re an authority in your chosen field. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: Faith, truth, meaning, belief, wisdom, knowledge, foreign travel, long distance journeys, right and wrong, moral compass, integrity, philosophy, law, legal matters, higher education, career, ambition, status, direction, achievement, professional life, reinvention, shake ups, new beginnings, transformation, the self, personality, identity, self expression, creativity, talents.

Gemini

May 21–June 20

Gemini Glyph

Gemini, let’s rewind. (It’s Mercury Retrograde, after all, at least until March 9.) Let’s go back to the start of 2018. I know we’ve talked about this before, but it’s a point that needs to be restated. The beginning of 2018 commenced a new chapter in your life, one that, over the next two and a half years, would take you through the deepest parts of your psyche. Why the start of 2018? That was when Saturn arrived in Capricorn, kicking off a time when you would need to do a lot of profound emotional work in order to grow and mature. To put this into perspective, you only get this period in your life once every 28-30 years. That’s how rare it is. But astrology teaches us that there’s a time and place for everything and, at some point, we all need to walk through our shadows and face ourselves so that we can transform in ways we wouldn’t otherwise. The good news is that this month Saturn wraps up its time in Capricorn — for now — and moves into Aquarius on March 21. This means two things. One, you’re wrapping up a period in your life that has tested you emotionally and psychically. Two, you’re stepping into a new time, one that will turn your focus towards questions of faith. What do you believe in after everything that you’ve been through? What is your truth now? What wisdom have you gained that you otherwise would not have? Keep in mind that Saturn will only preview Aquarius, spending the next three months in the sign of science, technology, politics, community, and social networks before returning to Capricorn on July 1. Yes, you’re dipping back into your deep self come July, but only until December 2020 to tie up loose ends and show Saturn that you’ve mastered its lessons on intimacy, personal power, facing your fears, and rebirth. Keep these list of these lessons handy, especially this month as Saturn reaches the end of Capricorn and gives us all feedback on how we’ve been doing since the start of 2018. And with Mars also in Capricorn this month, you’re getting a big push from the cosmos to really step up and learn these deeper emotional lessons. That said, Mercury, your ruling planet has been retrograde in Pisces since February. This is an intuitive, emotional, and spiritual placement for your planet. Maybe you’ve felt a little tired or spacey, too. (Pisces is the least grounded of the signs.) But when Mercury gets back into Aquarius on March 4, you may feel more mentally sharper, a little more yourself. And when Mercury turns direct on March 9, you’re ready to move forward after your season of reflection, withdraw, and soul searching. Mercury turns forward in your sign of education and travel, truth and wisdom. You may be on the move this month, seeing the world or at least reading about it. Also on March 9, a Virgo Full Moon puts the spotlight on home and family. You may have a decision to make about your home or where you are living or dealing with a matter with a family member. It’s also a full moon to get clear about what you need to nourish your life and fulfill your emotional needs. The full moon’s opposition to Neptune may have you questioning your path in life and if it is spiritually aligned or contributing towards the greater good. On March 16 Mercury moves back into Pisces, bringing you once again into the sign of compassion, sensitivity, and intuition. Pisces is also your career sign, so if the retrograde brought up some confusion about your professional life or an issue in your job, you may see some sort of resolution or the next step in the second part of March. By March 19, the Sun moves into Aries, your sign of friendship, community, and social connection. It’s a season to make new friends, join groups, and find your allies, especially after the Aries New Moon on March 24, although you may be wondering who to trust with Mars joined up with Pluto in Capricorn. When Mars moves into Aquarius on March 30, you may have a clearer idea of who your friends are. Also, you may be traveling and going out into the world as you step into April. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: The deep self, emotions, facing fears, power, control, rebirth, transformation, the light at the end of the tunnel, emotional maturity, emotional wisdom, trust, money, finance, power, faith, truth, wisdom, knowledge, education, travel, beliefs, philosophy, point of view, ideology, home, family, living situation, move, parents, emotional needs, roots, foundation, career, direction, responsibilities, public life, professional life, friendships, community, social network, social circle, the future.

Cancer

June 21–July 22

Cancer Glyph

Cancer, let’s again put things into perspective. Since the start of 2018 (longer if I’m being honest, since 2008), you’ve been in a chapter of your life of working to build and strengthen the many relationships in your life. (Ironically while tearing them down at the same time. Thanks, Pluto!) When you look back over the last two years, what do you see? Maybe you’ve gotten into a serious relationship. Maybe you’ve ended one. Maybe you’ve worked hard to get out there in the world and make new connections beyond romantic partnership. Regardless, you’ve have a potent lineup of planets in your relationship sign of Capricorn of late, which have been pushing buttons, shaking up connections, and leading you forward into a new chapter. One of these planets, Saturn is getting ready to leave your relationship sign on March 21 and, in the meantime, putting pressure on you to make some serious decisions. If you are in a relationship, are you ready for the next level? Commitment? Marriage? Or do you need to make a decision about whether a relationship has what it takes to last? Even if you aren’t in a relationship, this has been an opportunity to take this part of your life more seriously. Saturn wants to know what you’ve learned since 2018. When Saturn changes signs on March 21, arriving in your sign of emotional intimacy, the psyche, and transformation, you’ll be getting a three month preview of the next couple of years, a chapter where you’ll be working on your emotional health and the deepest parts of yourself to heal and transform. Pay attention to the sort of decisions you’re making and the interactions you’re having at the end of the month, especially as Mars and Saturn line up on March 30. These are the seeds of a new time in your life and will play out until 2023. Not to get ahead of ourselves, we’re coming out of Mercury Retrograde on March 9, which means that any ongoing issues may start to clear up or give us a new perspective this month. A Virgo Full Moon, also on March 9, puts the spotlight on communication, ideas, information, and learning. You may receive news around this time, especially regarding something that has been previously hidden or secret, or you may need to make a serious choice. With the full moon’s opposition to Neptune, you may be struggling with where to put your faith. Additionally the full moon may highlight travel, trips, and journeys. When the Sun arrives in Aries on March 19, you kick off a new personal month, one that’s all about career, responsibility, and direction. The Aries New Moon on March 24 is your yearly reset for your career and professional life, giving you an opportunity to look for new work or change positions. With Mars’s lineup with Pluto and Saturn, you may be working through an issue with a partner or boss. If a relationship difficulty does come up with the new moon, again, how will you show Saturn that you’ve learned how to negotiate, listen, and interact differently? The new moon also highlights some deeper emotional themes, ones that you’ll be working to heal with both Saturn and Mars in Aquarius as you go into April. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: Relationships, other people, partnerships, interaction, socialization, negotiation, commitment, boundaries, intimacy, trust, vulnerability, the psyche, the deep self, power, control, the shadow, facing fears, transformation, rebirth, money, finances, loans, wealth, debt, shared assets, legacies, secrets, sexuality, travel, long distance journeys, foreign travel, trips, education, learning, information, communication, ideas, faith, truth, belief, wisdom.

Leo

July 23–August 22

Leo Glyph

Just a friendly reminder, Leo, that for the better part of March there are four planets in Capricorn, a sign that’s been pushing you to get your real world life together. True, Capricorn can feel like heavy, sobering energy. It’s the bills that have to be paid. It’s the things that need to be done. It’s the need to take care and maintain your body through diet and fitness. Not exactly the most glamorous of transits, but it’s a necessary time to get your life in order. (Konmari-ing your home comes to mind.) Remember this as Saturn comes to the end of Capricorn this month, putting some pressure on you to tidy up, finish projects, and hit the gym. Since Saturn is the planet of lessons, it’s taking a look at how you’ve worked hard over the past couple of years to prioritize your health as well as mastering the details of daily living. What sort of feedback do you think you’ll receive? When Saturn changes signs on March 21, arriving in Aquarius, you’re getting a preview of the next couple of years, a time in your life when you’re going to have to prioritize relationships. This could mean, if you’re single or dating, that a serious relationship is on the horizon. If you are in a relationship, it’s time to recommit and strengthen it. If a relationship is not working, Saturn will push you to either work on it or make a decision about its future. (I’ll be talking about Saturn in Aquarius in my March 12 webinar. Details here.) Mind you, this is only a preview. Saturn will be in Aquarius for three months before dipping back into Capricorn on July 1. Nevertheless, your life is getting ready for its next big chapter. (Sounds like a familiar theme, Leo. Let’s not forget that Uranus has been switching up and reinventing your career since March 2019.) That said, it’s Pisces Season, a time when you get deep into your emotions and psyche. Maybe you’re meditating or reflecting more. Maybe you’re feeling emotions bubble up to the surface. You’re also feeling more intuitive and psychic. The full moon on March 9, however, puts the spotlight on money, income, and material needs. You may be more motivated than usual to get your material life in order, making purchases that help you to feel more safe and secure in this world. The full moon also highlights themes around trust, vulnerability, and intimacy. Can you open up to a partner or a trusted confidant and reveal what you are really thinking? Speaking of partners, Mercury turns direct in your relationship sign of Aquarius on March 9 and you may receive some information or see something from a new perspective between you and another person. The Sun’s arrival in Aries on March 19 kicks off a new season, one that’s more in harmony with how you flow. Aries is fire to Leo’s Sun. It’s new beginnings; it’s travel and exploration. You may be on the move as you go into April, especially for work or in support of a project. Then on March 21 Saturn changes signs, the marquee event for March’s astrology. Again, you’re on the edge of a new time in your life, one that will be much more focused on relationships — all relationships, not just romantic. Pay attention to what’s happening and unfolding and who is coming in and out of your life at the end of March. It’s a seed that will take root and thread its way through the next couple of years as Saturn moves through Aquarius. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: Health, wellness, diet, fitness, nutrition, taking care of the body, daily life, schedule, organization, work, projects, emotional health, the deep self, introspection, deep feelings, the psyche, money, income, spending, assets, finance, wealth, debt, intimacy, vulnerability, trust, sexuality, partners, partnership, relationship, other people, serious relationship, commitment.

Virgo

August 23–September 22

Virgo Glyph

With Mercury coming to the end of its retrograde on March 9, you’re wrapping up a period where you had to rework, reflect, and reassess your relationships. What themes came up for you last month with a partner or with people in general? Did you have to take a second look at how you connect with people? As Mercury turns direct, it does so in Aquarius, a sign that you’re going to see a lot more of starting later this month. Aquarius is your sign of health, wellness, work, and service — hmm, sounds a bit like familiar territory for you, Virgo — and on March 21, Saturn will arrive in Aquarius, which will be a major shift in your personal clock. Think of it like this. From the start of 2018 until now, one of the big hands on your clock has been pointing towards a span of time meant to get you to take yourself and your talents seriously. It’s wanted you to answer deeper questions about who you are and how you express that. I think in previous horoscopes I said something to the effect of, stop putting others before yourself, especially when it creates a deficit in your life. So, what have you learned? With the hand on the cusp of this new hour for most of March, you may feel a sense of pressure to bring a bunch of different personal narratives together, especially with Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto also in Capricorn. (That’s a lot of planets in Capricorn, by the way.) That said, a Virgo Full Moon on March 9 puts you in the spotlight. It’s a full moon to get noticed for something that you’ve been working on. It may also highlight something around a project or a colleague. Again, health and wellness are increasingly a focus this month, so you may want to use the full moon to schedule an annual check up or take action with some healthy resolutions or resolve to get organized and on schedule. The full moon also highlights relationships and with the Sun meeting up with Neptune, you may feel like you’re having to navigate someone else’s needs versus your own or that someone needs your compassion, forgiveness, and understanding. Mercury also returns to Pisces on March 16, which means that you’re circling back to events and decisions from February and wrapping up something that has to do with partnership and other people. It also means that you’re feeling more intuitive and sensitive for the rest of March. By March 19 the Sun arrives in Aries, bringing you into a new season, one both marked by new beginnings and initiatives and a dive into the deeper parts of yourself. Over the coming weeks, you’ll be focusing on and prioritizing your emotional health or delving into how the mind and the body are linked. With that in mind, you may be thinking of reaching out to a therapist or trusted advisor or taking initiative on your own to dig into the hidden corners of your psyche. Use the Aries New Moon on March 24 to kick some bad habits and face any self destructive tendencies as Mars aligns with Pluto. Virgo, it can’t be stressed more how powerful a time this is for you to reinvent parts of yourself. Although Saturn will leave Capricorn on March 21, it will return on July 1 to help you get crystal clear about who you are and why that’s something to be honored and valued. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: The self, persona, identity, self expression, creativity, talent, ego, children, relationships, other people, partnerships, negotiation, compromise, socialization, social interaction, health, wellness, diet, fitness, nutrition, taking care of the body, organization, schedule, work, rituals, emotional health, the psyche, emotional healing, transformation, intimacy, vulnerability, trust, sexuality, power, control.

Libra

September 23–October 22

Libra Glyph

Lots to talk about, Libra! Everyone’s been talking about Saturn changing signs this month and for good reason. For everyone, it’s a major shift, one that points to a new hour. For you, let’s put a few things into perspective first. Think back to the start of 2018. That was the last time that the Saturn hand on your personal clock switched signs and, as you can probably tell by now, Saturn doesn’t switch signs very often. So, over the past two years, Saturn’s been pointing towards Capricorn, your sign of home and family, roots and foundation. Maybe you made a major move. Maybe you put down roots. Maybe you had to prioritize your family and navigate themes from the past. Maybe you had to build your own family. Here’s the thing. As Saturn wraps up its time in Capricorn, you may have some decisions to make this month or find that a personal narrative that began in 2018 is starting to come to a close. With Mars also in Capricorn this month, the home environment is likely not cozy and quiet as Mars speaks to home renovation, moves, and other big initiatives with home and family. A full moon on March 9th puts the spotlight on a part of your chart that deals with spirituality, endings, and letting go. With so much going on in the home environment this month, what old emotional patterns, family dynamics, and ancestral baggage do you need to let go of? Let’s not forget that Venus, your ruling planet, arrives in Taurus on March 4, entering a sign that it’s right at home in. For everything you may be navigating this month, it’ll be nice to feel Taurus’s sensuality, pleasure, and decadence. That said, Venus will meet up with Uranus on March 8, giving you a possible jolt, awakening, or opportunity to reinvent yourself, especially on a deeper emotional level. Pisces Season also means that you’re focusing on your health and wellness this month, making doctor appointments or heading to the gym (or the yoga, pilates, or dance studio for graceful movements). But when the Sun arrives in Aries on March 19, you’re in a new season devoted to relationships and connection. The Aries New Moon on March 24 gives you a personal reset in the relationship department, sparking new beginnings, new partnerships, and new chapters with people. Keep in mind that Mars aligns with Pluto, which means that shadow issues may bubble up in relationships — control, power, secrets. How will you stand up for yourself. Of course, the main event this month arrives on March 21 when Saturn enters Aquarius for the first time since 1994. It’s a new time in your life, one where, over the coming years, you’ll need to take your talents, creativity, and yourself seriously. Children and pregnancy may be highlighted, too. But this is only a preview as Saturn will leave Aquarius on July 1 to wrap up its time in Capricorn. Nevertheless, you are straddling two major chapters this month. Pay attention to what’s going on. Events and interactions speak volumes to deeper meanings and hidden agendas. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: Home, family, roots, foundation, the past, emotional needs, emotional security, living situation, moves, changes in the home, parents, letting go, rest, recuperation, retreat, endings, spirituality, meditation, the deep self, the psyche, deep emotions, emotional health, facing fears, transformation, power, control, intimacy, vulnerability, relationships, other people, partnerships, negotiation, compromise, socialization, health, wellness, diet, fitness, nutrition, projects, work, daily life, schedule, the self, identity, creativity, talent, self expression.

Scorpio

October 23–November 21

Scorpio Glyph

Scorpio, get ready. One of the big hands on your personal clock is about to change hours, revealing that you’re on the cusp of two chapters. First, let’s take a look back. Since the start of 2018, you’ve been in a chapter where you’ve had to work on your voice and how you communicate. With Saturn in Capricorn the last two years, your sign of voice and communication, it’s been an uphill climb to really master how people hear you, how you take your words and ideas seriously, and even take your mind seriously. Maybe you’ve been taking a lot of classes or working on a writing project, too. It’s also been time to make serious decisions about your path. So, as Saturn winds its way into the last minutes of Capricorn, what have you learned the past couple of years? Have you mastered communication? Which way are you going to take at the fork in the road? There’s a bit of pressure on you now, especially as Mars works its way through Capricorn this month, meeting up with Jupiter and Pluto along the way. And, in a way, things are starting to converge and coming together to form something solid. (After all, Capricorn is the sign of manifestation and the material world, but also shows where we have to work harder towards a higher standard.) As much as this month is about getting your stuff together, it’s also about play and creativity. Pisces Season helps you reconnect with yourself. It’s the time in your personal calendar to share your talents, especially your intuitive and healing gifts. Then there’s Venus in Taurus. Its arrival in your relationship sign on March 4 opens up a four week period where you’re naturally connecting with new people, socializing, and making time for partnership. Do remember, you’re a year into a seven year story of completely reinventing how you do relationships in your life because Uranus is also in Taurus. When Venus meets up with Uranus on March 8, it may be a day to meet someone very new or turn a corner in how you interact, socialize, and partner with others. It also may be a need to make a break from the past, including a relationship that’s not working. Then on March 9, a Virgo Full Moon puts friendship, community, and groups in the spotlight. You may have a decision to make about the people in your social network. Whom can you call a friend? Do you have allies? You may also be getting involved with service in your community or other projects. It’s also a full moon to look ahead to the future and create a vision of where you want to be. Later, the Sun arrives in Aries on March 19, kicking off a new season, one of new beginnings, new initiatives, and the courage to move forward. For you, Aries is a sign that talks about work, projects, health, wellness, and how you take care of your body. And so it’s a new season to recommit to your body as well as getting your daily life organized and in order, especially in the days before and after the new moon on March 24. You may also be very busy with work as you go into April. That said, the marquee event this month is Saturn’s arrival in Aquarius on March 21. It’s a major time for you because Aquarius forms the foundation of Scorpio’s chart, your roots, your home and family. You’re entering a new time where, over the next couple of years, you may be making a big move, purchasing a home, focusing on building a family, and settling down. Mind you, Saturn is only going to be in Aquarius until July 1, so this is a three month preview. (Saturn dips back into Capricorn on July 1 and then returns to Aquarius on December 17, 2020.) Pay attention to what’s coming up for you as you wrap up March and get into April, especially as Mars and Saturn align on March 31. It’s a thread that will weave its way through the next two years. Sagittarius

November 22–December 21

Sagittarius Glyph

What do you value? Have your spending habits changed in the last two years? Have you changed how you earn a living? With Saturn coming to the end of Capricorn, your money sign, this month, it’s time to look back on what you’ve learned since the start of 2018. In short, this has been a chapter in your life to master money and resource — how you use, accumulate it, spend it, and value it. It’s also been a time to get your material life in order and learn the lessons that accompany those things. And what a lesson it’s been. With Mars also in Capricorn this month, you’re extra motivated to learn those lessons and show Saturn that you’ve got this. Keep in mind that you’re on the cusp between two major chapters and Saturn doesn’t change signs very often, every two and a half years. That said, it’s Pisces Season and Pisces is your sign of home, family, and roots. As a result you may be spending more time at home this month or needing to take care of matters in your living environment. You may even be preparing for a move. It’s also time to reach out to family or the people you consider your family. A full moon on March 9 puts the spotlight on your career sign of Virgo. It’s a full moon to get recognized for your hard work, to take the next step forward on your career path, or make a change in your professional life. With Mercury over in Aquarius, you may also hear news about something related to your professional life. Speaking of Mercury, after a retrograde, turning direct on March 9, it returns to Pisces on March 16, taking you back to themes from early February. If there was something unresolved in your home or with a family member, you may finally get resolution later this month. By March 19, the Sun arrives in Aries and you arrive in a new season, one that invites you to play, have fun, and be yourself. It’s also a season for creativity and self expression, talent and performance. Children are highlighted, too. On March 21, it’s the marquee event for the month (if not the year). Saturn arrives in Aquarius and kicks off a new chapter in your life, one devoted to mastering how you think, communicate, learn, and use your voice. As a Sagittarius, you know a lot. You’re the sign of wisdom and knowledge, after all. How will you bring that together into a succinct voice or viewpoint in the coming two years? Will you write a book? Teach? Or will you need to take classes? Travel may be something that you’re having to make more time for, too. That said, Saturn will only spend three months in Aquarius, giving you a preview returning back home to Capricorn on July 1. (What will Saturn in Aquarius mean for you? Check out my webinar on March 12.) And then from July until December 17, you’re wrapping up your lessons in money and value. So just know that you’re reviewing and reevaluating events, choices, and experiences that you had in February and March as Saturn returns to these points in the sky later this year. Capricorn

December 22–January 19

Capricorn Glyph

So much to talk about Capricorn! First, let’s address the fact that there are currently four planets in Capricorn, one of which is Mars. It’s probably safe to say that there’s a lot going on in your life. You feel energized and empowered. You’re taking command. You’re moving forward. But you’re also feeling impatient, short tempered, and even a little combative. Here’s the thing. Mars picks up on recent eclipse energies and, as a result, March is likely a pivotal month for you. And since we’re talking about eclipse energies, life may be turning in a new direction, people may be coming in and out of your life, and you may be dealing with some big events, especially in relationships or in your family or living situation. But that’s not even the marquee event for this month. All eyes are on Saturn, your ruling planet, which will leave Capricorn for Aquarius on March 21. Yes, after two years of putting a ton of pressure and responsibility on you, Saturn moves into Aquarius, your money sign for a preview. For the next three months, you’re in a new time, one that will push you to get your finances in order, start to define what you need in order to feel stable monetarily, and even make some changes in how you earn a living. The purpose of this new chapter is to teach you about value, especially in how you value yourself. That said, it’s Pisces Season and this is a time in your personal calendar when you’re focused on communication, ideas, learning, travel, and making the right choices. If you’ve been a little unsure of what direction to go in recently — Mercury finally turns direct on March 9 after a three week retrograde — this month should finally bring you some clarity, especially later in March. A full moon, also on March 9, puts the spotlight on exploration, truth, and meaning. Do you know what you believe in? Do you have faith? You may also be making plans to visit a foreign land or a place far from where you live. Education and legal matters may be highlighted as well. Come March 19 the Sun arrives in Aries and we kick off a new season. For you, Aries is your sign of home and family, forming the base of your zodiac wheel. As a result, later this month, you may be thinking about making a change in where you live, spending more time at home, or even making purchases for the home. You may also be thinking about how to create more material stability in your life and making some serious moves or changes towards the end of March when Mars and Saturn align. That said, as mentioned earlier, Saturn changes signs on March 21, which is like one of the big hands on your personal clock moving to a new hour. You may feel a palpable shift as Saturn moves from an earth sign to air, an element that wants to move, explore, connect, chat, and socialize. Take notes, write down what’s going on in your life via a journal or digital record. The seeds planted and events that you’ll experience in March will wind their way through the next two years. It will be good to have something to reflect back on to remember where it all began. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Aquarius

January 20–February 18

Aquarius Glyph

Big news, Aquarius! I’ve been talking about this for a while in previous horoscopes, trying to put into perspective what this time of your life is all about and how 2020 represents a year where you’re straddling the divide between two major chapters and two lives. If you recall, Saturn, your ruling planet, has been in Capricorn since the start of 2018 and, over the last two years, you’ve been behind the scenes, pulling back from the world, and shedding old layers. It may have been spiritual or deeply contemplative time, too. Saturn, unlike other planets in astrology, moves very slowly and creates a rhythm in your life that creates these distinct two and a half year chapters. But Capricorn represents the last sign in your personal zodiac wheel and, thus, the end of the road. In March you’re wrapping up a 29 year cycle (!) — the time that Saturn takes to move around your chart — and preparing for a new one. Be very intentional about the first few weeks of March. Take inventory of the baggage in your life. What is it that you don’t want to bring with you into this new chapter? Is this spiritual baggage? Physical baggage? Old habits and emotions? Mars is also in Capricorn, so it’s safe to say that you’re extra motivated to sprint to the finish line of this major life chapter. When Saturn arrives in Aquarius on March 21, it’s a new time and the start of a new 29 year story. Saturn’s also going to be putting pressure on you the next few months to grow up and take on new responsibilities. (After all, Saturn is the planet of growing up and growing older.) Mind you, Saturn only spends the next three months in Aquarius, giving you a preview before retrograding back into Capricorn on July 1. The months between July and December 17, 2020, when Saturn finally arrives in Aquarius for good, give you a second chance to wrap up the story of the last two years, make adjustments, and jettison anything else that you don’t want to bring with you into this new time. (I know, this is a big deal!) That said, it’s Pisces Season, a time in your zodiac calendar when you’re focused on money and material stability. Maybe you’re making major purchases or focused on gathering what you need — resources, basic necessities, more income. A full moon on March 9 puts finance and assets in the spotlight and you may be considering a loan or working on taxes. It’s also a time for you to confront any fears around not having enough or fears that make you not feel rooted and grounded so that you can release them. Home and family are also highlighted this month as Venus makes its way through Taurus, the sign that forms the base of your zodiac wheel. Keep in mind that there’s another major story unfolding in your life right now and has been since March 2019 with Uranus, also in Taurus. Maybe you’ve made a major move in the last couple of years, maybe you’re thinking about a future move, one that puts you very far from where you’ve been — even if it’s just a metaphorical move. As Venus meets up with Uranus on March 8, how are you seeing changes in home and family or a desire to let go of the past? When the Sun arrives in Aries on March 19, you’re on the move. It’s a season to focus on travel as well as education, especially after the new moon on March 24. Aries is also your sign of communication and the mind and you may have something major to say or a serious decision to make as March ends, which may include something about career or direction. That said, the headlining event for this month is Saturn’s arrival in Aquarius on March 21, which I’ve mentioned previously. It’s a new time as well as a new era. Take stock of any shifts or noticeable changes in personal narrative. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you? Book your one-on-one consultation now.

Key Themes: Endings, new beginnings, major crossroads, milestones, responsibility, money, income, spending, material needs, resources, what you own, value, worth, self worth, assets, finance, loans, wealth, debt, taxes, facing fears, the deep self, the psyche, deep emotions, trust, intimacy, communication, ideas, information, voice, learning, classes, travel, trips, home, family, living situation, roots, foundation, breaking from the past.

Pisces

February 19–March 20

Pisces Glyph

Happy birthday, Pisces! With Jupiter, your ruling planet, over in Capricorn, hopefully this is a birthday spent surrounded by rock solid friends and allies. You may be thinking of the future as you blow out the candles on another birthday cake, sketching out goals and personal milestones you’d like to achieve this year as well as in the coming years. With four planets in Capricorn this month, including Jupiter, you may be feeling the weight of time and responsibility and a need to make things more real in your life. That said, the main event this month is the planet Saturn’s departure from Capricorn and its arrival in Aquarius on March 21. More on what that means for you and how that will impact the next few years in a moment. First, it’s a new personal year, a time of new beginnings and renewal. (In particular, it’s a year of bigger new beginnings for those born on or close to February 23, the day of this year’s Pisces New Moon.) With the Virgo Full Moon on March 9 lighting up your relationship sign, you may find that you’re socializing and connecting with people more. If you’re single, this is a natural time for you to form a new relationship. If already in a relationship, your partnership is highlighted in some way. On the same day, March 9, Mercury turns direct and seeing how Mercury is your relationship planet (it’s also your planet of home and family), you may get information or see things differently than you’ve been while Mercury was retrograde. If you’ve been navigating an ongoing relationship issue, keep in mind that Mercury gets back to Pisces on March 16 and clears its retrograde shadow on March 29, bringing a matter to a resolution. By March 19, you say goodbye to your birthday season and hello to Aries, your sign of money, income, value, and resource. The second half of this month is a natural time to focus on real world living, from the money you make and the money in the bank to the things you need to feel safe and secure, especially after an Aries New Moon on March 24. But let’s not forget Saturn’s arrival in Aquarius on March 21. See, Saturn doesn’t change signs very often and it last did so at the start of 2018. So you’ve been in a two year chapter of focusing on your friendships, building community, joining groups, and making alliances. Maybe you’ve seen friendships leave your life over the past two years, but the truth is that Saturn wants the people in your life to be 100% there for you. And there’s a sense of surveying who’s still your life as Saturn crosses into Aquarius. That said, Aquarius represents the last sign in your zodiac wheel. It’s about spirituality and letting go, retreating and searching for answers. Although Saturn will only be in Aquarius for the next three months before retrograding back into Capricorn on July 1, consider April through June a preview. And if Saturn represents lessons and maturity and mastery gained via these lessons, then the next few years it’s time to make your spiritual life a priority. So, as you step into April, you may be meditating more or looking into different systems or teachings to help you explain life’s deeper questions. Want a deeper look at how March will affect you?
