We start the week on a serious note as the Moon arrives in Capricorn. It’s a day to plan and take steps towards a bigger goal. If life is in a state of disruption at the moment, how can we use Mars in Capricorn to create new structure and organization?
There’s a lot of major astrology happening this week that we need to unpack. When I sat down before the start of 2020 and began to look ahead at the year, one thing that was obvious was that March would be a month of major shifts. After all, Saturn changes signs on March 21, arriving in Aquarius for the first time since 1994. And when Saturn changes signs, it’s like one of the big hands on the cosmic clock moving to a new hour.
Saturn is the master timekeeper of all the planets. It sets the pace and rhythm of how greater arcs of time unfold. Yes, we can look to the Sun and its change of signs each month, but these are smaller moments in time compared to Saturn. We know that with Saturn changing signs this month that the arc of the story was going to go in a new direction. But the other thing that pointed to major astrological shifts was Mars in Capricorn. In fact, when I looked ahead, I could see that Mars would meet up with recent eclipse degree in March, revealing that personal (and world) events could also swing us in a new direction since that’s the function eclipse energy.
Here we are. We’re seeing it real time.
That said, Mars meets up with these eclipse degrees today and tomorrow and again on March 20. Mars is like a catalyst, a trigger. So, what it’s starting to look like is that major events will likely unfold around these dates, if not throughout the week. And you may see these events in the part of your life that Capricorn corresponds to.
