The Moon arrives in Libra and we’re starting to pull away from the energies of the full moon, a full moon that put health and hygiene, work and practice into the spotlight. We’re also being asked to master the details and make sure we have a plan for the future.
Mercury is also direct as of late last night and, hopefully, some of the shenanigans that have dogged us since February will start to subside. Mercury also turns direct in Aquarius, a sign that it’s a lot sharper in. It’s a reminder to get expert advice and cultivate our own intelligence since Mercury in Aquarius is likely the smartest person in the room right now.
Speaking of Aquarius, it’s a sign that we’re going to get a lot more of once Saturn arrives in Aquarius on March 21. Over the coming months and years it’s going to be all about connection. As an air element sign, Aquarius helps us to make larger social connection, forge community, and realize our place is society. It’s also a deeply scientific, academic, technologic, and humanitarian driven sign.
The last time Saturn was in Aquarius was 1991-1994, coinciding with the infancy of the internet, a technology that would later build into the global network that links us all, especially through social media. So, this time around, we may see further advances in connection while having to collectively look at what disconnects us and makes us lose our humanity.
