Taurus Moon takes us into the weekend, a Moon that likes to graze, taste, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Make sure you connect with positive earth today, an element that’s all about good food, nice things, and the abundance of the material world.
We’re also inching into the end of the lunar month, one that began on June 3 with a Gemini New Moon. As we wrap up, this weekend is a good time to take stock of what began with the new moon, the stories we told, the ideas we encountered, and the things we learned.
Additionally, we’re also on the cusp of a Cancer New Moon solar eclipse on July 2 followed by a Capricorn Full Moon lunar eclipse on July 16. As you know from my many mentions here, eclipses initiate powerful new beginnings. They usher in new chapters, ones that may be very different than the previous months before.
One of the things that’s distinguishing this eclipse season is the presence of Saturn and Pluto in both of the eclipses, two heavy duty planets. I said this on my eclipse webinar and I’ll reiterate it here is that this Saturn/Pluto energy, especially in the sign of Capricorn, is like a wrecking ball. Use this energy wisely and with intention in the coming days and weeks. Turn the wrecking ball into a personal sledgehammer, one that you take to the different structures, boundaries, and walls that are not supporting you anymore. (If you want to learn more about this and about the upcoming eclipses, you can still purchase the 90-minute video replay here for $20 USD.)
Mars is also wrapping up its time in Cancer this weekend. It’s been quite the swim for Mars, a planet that doesn’t traditionally like being in Cancer. And if we look back a couple of weeks ago, it made a series of uncomfortable aspects to Saturn and Pluto. Come July 1, it will arrive in Leo, a sign that gives it passion, creativity, and exuberance, for the next seven weeks.
