The Moon travels from Libra to Scorpio today, from element Air and social connection to element Water and deep emotions. With Mars in Pisces, we’re feeling deeply sensitive, empathic, compassionate, too. We’re also working on projects and towards our goals.
As I mentioned in my weekly astrology video update, we’re in a week punctuated by the energy of a lunar eclipse, meaning we’re not living in ordinary times. Events feel charged, fated. We’re at a turning point.
When the South Node of the Moon arrived in Sagittarius on May 5, we entered an eighteen month period where we’d be deconstructing or even unlearning what we thought was true. We’d be examining our faith, whether it means losing it or finding it. This includes our faith in the world or institutions as well as something higher.
When I taught my Lunar Nodes webinar last year, one of the things I talked about is that when the South Node is in Sagittarius we have to sort of leave behind all the knowledge and wisdom that we have in order to gain a new perspective or get back to basics. It’s possible that our vision on the world has become restricted in some way as to impede our growth. We have to say to ourselves more often, “Maybe I’m wrong ….” (Learn more in The Lunar Nodes: Finding Your Soul’s True North.)
That said, the Moon’s in Scorpio today. It’s a day to focus not only on our physical health but our emotional and spiritual health as well. We’re also working towards our goals and ambitions or taking on responsibility. But with Mars and Neptune nearing a conjunction, make sure your goals are aligned with a higher calling or aligned with the good of your soul.
