Another Taurus Moon day and we continue to wind down the lunar month. We’re moving more slowly. We’re continuing to weigh our options. On the cusp of a lunar eclipse, we may feel the energies of change beginning to shift the tectonic plates of our lives.
The June 21 solar eclipse falls at the very beginning of Cancer. For those who know astrology, you may remember that Cancer is a cardinal sign, meaning it aligns with the four directions. It is not only the beginning of a new season — summer in the northern hemisphere, winter in the southern — but it contains the energies that initiate change or a new beginning. And an eclipse right on one of the four directions sends us all off in a new direction.
Solar eclipses are just powerful new moons. Something ends so that something new can take its place. I was reminded of this a few days ago when my spirit guides reminded me that there will come a time in the not so distant future when the my much loved home of 10 years will no longer be big enough to support the life that I want to create.
In the meantime, we’re also on the verge of Mercury Retrograde, which begins tomorrow. Things may be a little screwy as a result. Find patience, do your due diligence.
