We start the week with a Pisces Moon, one that points us back towards Jupiter in Capricorn. It’s a day to quietly reflect on the year we’ve lived while setting new goals for 2020. Also there’s five planets in Capricorn right now. We’re stepping up our game in 2020.
Yes, there are five planets — Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto — in Capricorn right now. That’s what we like to call in astrology a “stellium” and it’s unusual to have so many planets in one sign, especially outer planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. Plus, we just had a solar eclipse in Capricorn on December 26.
There’s a powerful emphasis right now on all things Capricorn, which is to say, structure, order, ambition, responsibility, accountability, maturity, time management, and hard work. Over the coming six months, until the next eclipses, these themes will play out thematically in our experiences, choices, and interactions. Capricorn is a serious sign, so life is a little bit more serious than usual. (Not sure what part of your chart Capricorn is located in? Read Saturn in Capricorn: Sign by Sign for insight.)
I’m going to be talking all about the Astrology of 2020 in my latest 90-minute webinar on Tuesday, January 7. Make sure you register if you want an overview as well as a sign by sign look at the year ahead. Details and registration here.
Plus, I’m giving you all a sneak preview in my weekly Facebook Live at 6 pm EST today. I’ll also be looking back at the decade as well as the astrology of this week, December 30, 2019 to January 5, 2020. If you can’t watch live, you can catch the replay on YouTube or IGTV.
