We’re wrapping up Sagittarius Season this week, the sign that inspires us to explore, search, and discover the world around us. It’s also a sign of big ideas and, as we prepare to go into Capricorn Season, we need to commit to making these ideas a reality.
If you’re in the northern hemisphere like me, this week brings us some of the darkest days of the year as we get closer to the winter solstice on December 21 and welcome the return of the light. If you’re in the southern hemisphere, you’re getting ready to celebrate the summer solstice on December 21.
Don’t forget, we’re less than two weeks away from a solar eclipse. I share this not to make you nervous or cause anxiety, but to put into your awareness that we’re in a time when the set of our lives is readying for the next act. Characters are coming in and out. There may even be an unexpected addition to the cast. The storyline is shifting.
The role of eclipses, which arrive every six months like clockwork, is to push along the narrative in a particular part of our lives. This solar eclipse, which occurs on December 26 at 4 degrees Capricorn, is the next big chapter in a story that began in January 2019. And with the Capricorn part of our chart demanding a lot of attention right now, it’s time for powerful new goals, new accountability, new milestones, and new commitments.
