We start the weekend with a Pisces Moon, one that stirs up strong emotions, opinions. With conjunctions to Neptune, Mars, and Chiron, this Moon doesn’t make for the lightest of energies. It’s searching for answers and meaning, it’s digging into old scar tissue.
As I mentioned yesterday, Pisces is a sign that reveals Jupiter’s emotional wisdom. Jupiter, ruler of both Sagittarius and Pisces, is the guru, the teacher, the savior. Whenever we reach Pisces, we’ve reached the end of the zodiac after a long journey, having gained knowledge and understanding of ourselves and the universe. Pisces is the return home to the Cosmic Mother where we heal, rest, and replenish ourselves for the next cycle.
But Pisces can also feel like a endless well of emotion. So don’t be surprised if you’re overly sensitive, raw, or touchy. It’s a good day to do your emotional work and bring consciousness to what you are feeling and where it is coming from. (Or it may spill onto others.) Meditate, rest, and reflect. The Moon meets up with Chiron on Saturday, so whatever we’re feeling has deep roots — roots that may reach into other lives.
By late Saturday and into Sunday, the Moon moves into Aries, which makes for a much livelier sky. (Perfect for a holiday party.) The Aries Moon breathes life into the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter, all in Sagittarius.
