What inspires us to search for meaning? What fuels our faith as well as our curiosity about the world? The Pisces Moon joins up with Mars and Neptune, pulling on the Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury in Sagittarius. We’re on a quest to understand ourselves and the world.
Sagittarius and Pisces are two sides of the same coin. Both Jupiter ruled, they are signs that open us up to experiences outside of ourselves. For Sagittarius it’s travel and education, which gives rise to knowledge and a deeper understanding of the world. It’s also religion and philosophy, which gives us a way to see the world through the lens of right and wrong. For Pisces, however, it’s the wisdom that comes from emotion and compassion as well as an ability to see ourselves in the lives of others. It’s the mystical side to religion and faith.
That said, the sky is pressing on our existential buttons today. How do we make sense of a world in chaos? How do we make sense of ourselves? With everything steeped in meaning and subtext, we may be feeling a little emo … or a need to get away from it all. Sagittarius — especially Jupiter and Mercury in Sagittarius — love foreign travel or travel with a flair for adventure.
Use today to read up on different philosophies and different ways of seeing the world. Meditate and reflect. Book plans for travel or watch a documentary about other countries and cultures — anything that helps us to bring more meaning and wisdom to our lives.
