We start the weekend with an Aquarius Moon, one that puts an emphasis on community and friendships. Although the Moon isn’t traditionally at home in Aquarius, it helps us to see the big picture as well as to value the importance of social connection.

In fact Saturday is more of a work day as the Virgo Sun links up with Saturn. So, how will you balance time with friends with the tasks and projects you need to get done? Use the Aquarius Moon to think ahead and vision what you want not only the coming months to look like, but bigger goals and ambitions that you want to achieve.

While you may be spending time with friends into Saturday and working on your plans for the future, on Sunday the Moon arrives in Pisces, a sign that is quite different than rational Aquarius, a sign that’s all about feeling, emotions, compassion, and spirituality. Plus, Sunday is the Pisces Full Moon and we may be feeling extra sensitive as a result or looking to tune into our intuition. This full moon activates some beautiful energy between Jupiter and Neptune, so two things may happen. One, we may be more open hearted than usual, more open to healing and unity. Two, we may feel all our emotions bubble to the surface. If it’s the later, make sure self care and quiet reflection is part of your Sunday.

The weekend will also touch on some eclipse degrees. We may see events that tie back to July as well as the August 11 solar eclipse. Life may take a turn. We may make a powerful decision. We may see things for what they are or we may see what steps we have to make forward. Remember, we’re turning darkness into light this lunar month.
