Mercury arrives in Virgo and we’re starting to move closer to Virgo Season, a time to get organized and prepared for the harvest and the months ahead. Mercury is also at home in Virgo, where it favors analysis, critical thinking, and editing.
Virgo is also the sign of purity and with the Moon still in Virgo, it’s a day to clean up. And in advance of the Sun’s arrival in Virgo on Saturday, August 22, we may want to start to come up with a list of things that need or attention or focus in the coming weeks.
Astrology teaches us that there’s a time for everything, so if Leo Season is a time to relax and enjoy the world and ourselves, then Virgo Season is a time when we need to gather resources, tend to our crops (metaphorically and literally), and think carefully about what we need.
As I’ve been mentioning this week, Mars in Aries is coming up to its square to Saturn in Capricorn. We may be feeling this push to put things in order and get back on track even more. For some, the coming days may be a wake up call.
