We’re in a new lunar month, one that wants us to create more stability in our lives while shaking up and reinventing anything that’s no longer supporting us. How can such diametrically opposed forces coexist? The coming weeks will push us into new territory.
One of the main points I made in yesterday’s Taurus New Moon report is that the coming days and weeks thread back to something that began in March 2019, the month that Uranus entered Taurus for a 6-7 year stay. Taurus is a sign that wants to preserve so that life can flourish. Uranus is a sign that wants to turn things upside down so that new consciousness can flourish. The resulting conflict of desires can feel like an earthquake.
That said, we’re caught between wanting to take it slow today and rush forward with new ideas and directions. Be open to exciting opportunities but pay attention to discomfort that you’re feeling, the pull of the old versus the new.
And since the Moon is still in Taurus today and tomorrow, it’s still a good time to reconnect to the earth as well as our bodies, something that may feel like a radical act. Put your bare feet on the ground. Bake something sweet. Feel into the energy of safety and fertility. Take your favorite natural lotion or oil and slowly massage it into your skin.
Pluto is getting to turn retrograde, too. We may be feeling deeper emotional issues come up, issues around the past and past traumas. We may be getting a glimpse of our hidden self or an inner saboteur so we can make some powerful shifts in our awareness and consciousness.
