Welcome to April! It’s Aries Season, which means we’re enjoying the springlike energies of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. It’s time for new beginnings. With Mars in Gemini, everything’s pointing towards communication, education, and travel this month.
As much as Aries and Gemini make for a playful, exuberant combination known for sharp ideas and wit, April comes with some serious energy courtesy of Saturn and Pluto lining up with the South Node in Capricorn. There’s a powerful subtext to what’s going on this month, which is to say that we’re dealing with soul themes around power and control, responsibility and duty.
Remember, the North Node is in Cancer. We all have to move toward what fills our proverbial cup as well as what feeds, cares, and nurtures us. We have to find the balance between what we should do and what our heart wants.
That said, the Moon’s in Pisces today and we’re rounding out the lunar month. We’re not quite ready to move forward. We still have loose ends to tie up as we prepare for the Aries New Moon on April 5. Plus, Mercury is still conjunct Neptune, which casts an intuitive and artistic influence over today and tomorrow. This is great for meditating, but not so great for crystal clear communication. Just make sure you’re double checking everything.
