Mercury returns to Sagittarius, a sign where it began its retrograde on November 9. After the inner search and examination of Mercury in Scorpio, we now look outward with Mercury in Sagittarius. We seek wisdom and knowledge for the discoveries of the last four weeks.
With Mercury in Sagittarius, we now have four planets in a sign that opens our eyes to the world, inspiring travel and exploration, study and higher degrees. Ruled by Jupiter, Sagittarius is a sign that wants more out of life. Perhaps with four planets in Sag, we want the same.
Life cannot remain static. It needs growth in the form of new experiences and ideas that open our eyes. In Sagittarius, that growth comes from outside — from our education to the places we travel and the different cultures we encounter to the books we read. All of this shapes our opinions, beliefs, and our understanding of right and wrong.
So, use the coming days to seek out new horizons. A square to Saturn in Pisces means that ultimately the answers don’t come from outside of us … they come from within.
