We had a Gemini Moon yesterday that not only kicked off a new lunar month, but activated a powerful opposition between Mars and Saturn. If Mars rules our will and efforts, then Saturn is not unlike climbing a mountain. We reach the top or we fall down.

This is the last time Mars will oppose Saturn while Saturn is in Sagittarius. It’s a demand for us to demonstrate our faith, to define and communicate what we believe in after two years of searching for the truth. Mars + Saturn has a bit of a reputation in astrology as a hard force to handle, but if we’ve learned anything from Saturn is that we have to do our work, we have to do our due diligence, and we have to meet Saturn’s call for commitment.

This energy may feel confrontational, subduing Gemini’s usual easy, breezy nature. Think of today as the exam for the test you’ve been studying for since 2015. Note that the opposition between Mars and Saturn will touch back on the the conjunction of August 24, 2016, linking these two moments in time. Our choices are clear, stark, unavoidable.
