Mercury arrives in Taurus this week on April 27, a sign that wants us to slow down and enjoy life. In the first few days of this week, it’s not a time to rush forward or make decisions impulsively without weighing our options.

Later this week, however, Mercury meets up with Uranus on April 30 and we may be feeing impulsive, restless, and ready to awaken to new ideas and ways of being. Uranus’s time in Taurus has been about us all getting out of our comfort zone.

Hi Katie,
I learned about you from your cousin, Dianne, and so I started watching your weekly astrology reports. Since I work with Deaf people, I turned on the CC button for those auto captions. You should read them sometimes…they are funny! Taurus becomes “tourist,” Uranus becomes “You’re honest,” is in (“is in Cancer”) becomes “isn’t cancer.” All of the captions are just one long sentence with no punctuation and a rare capitalization, so hopefully you do not have many followers who truly need the captions. I got a chuckle today…not sure that I remember what will be happening, except no travel, desire for food, realizing where food comes from, prepare for node switching, but I am not one of the signs you mentioned, so I guess I will be fine. My 2011-2013 were tumultuous times and I am not looking for a repeat…thank you.
