We go into a weekend that brings us to the dark of the moon, the time before a new moon when we release and prepare for the next chapter. With a new moon on the horizon that is also a solar eclipse, a greater cycle has come to a close.
The October 2 solar eclipse at 10 Libra threads us back to the previous solar eclipse on April 8 at 19 Aries, chapter heads in a larger story that has been unfolding since 2023. The Aries-Libra eclipses have been dynamic, initiatory. They have put the spotlight on relationship and interpersonal skills as well as war and peace.
Since we are only five days away from a solar eclipse, a gateway of energy that interconnects two spaces of time, there is an electricity in the air. Life may be interesting. New people and events prepare to enter our lives.
This weekend it may be better to rest and reflect, to cultivate our intuition. With the Sun and Mercury meeting up with the South Node in Libra, also this weekend, there’s a charge to our experiences and emotions. Doors may open and close.
The Lunar Nodes, while necessary to make an eclipse happen, are symbolically a path of evolution. Be open to new pathways as we cross into a new cycle marked by next week’s solar eclipse.
