Saturn returns to Pisces after a three-month preview of Aries and we return to themes and priorities that defined our 2023-2024. As the planet of time and great cycles of time, Saturn brings us back to the end of the zodiac. We have unfinished business in Pisces.
Think back to March 2023. What was going on? What new events and themes began to come into focus? Depending on our personal astrology, Saturn’s revisit of Pisces could be a need to reprioritize home and family or career and responsibilities. A major project may need completion. Additionally, we have a Pisces Full Moon this week, a lunar eclipse that puts a notable spotlight on September and the importance it may have in our lives. Eclipses, especially lunar eclipses, are inflection points. Emotions often run high. Life can sometimes come at us fast.
As a technical point, it’s important to note that when a significant planet changes sign, it rearranges the balance of power in the sky. If Jupiter is the ruling planet of Pisces, then Cancer now receives the energy of Saturn because Jupiter is presently located in Cancer. Any aspects Jupiter makes will be amplified by Saturn.
This week, on September 4, we have a square between Mars in Libra and Jupiter in Cancer. Simply, this may be a week where we need to reevaluate our commitments, our faith, and what we stand for.
