We go into the weekend with an Aries Moon, one that touches on themes of money and income, material stability and security. Am I safe? Do I have everything I need? It’s also a weekend to focus on projects, cleaning out physically and emotionally.
With the Moon in Aries, it’s a showcase for the Lunar Nodes, now in Aries and Libra. Like the compass points for the sky, the Nodes tell us what needs our attention and resolution (Libra) and what we need to work to integrate (Aries). More importantly, the Nodes make eclipses happen and we are a mere six weeks away from a solar eclipse.
You may remember that Mars arrived in Libra nearly a week ago, a forerunner for that solar eclipse to come on October 14. Mars, classically speaking, is a trigger. It may very well presage the eclipse with events in September, even though the eclipse is not until October. (I did a whole two hour webinar on this, The Lunar Nodes in Aries-Libra: 2023-2025. You can still get the replay.)
This eclipse is specifically about relationship … our relationship with others, with ourselves, our ability to socialize and connect, stand up for what we want, advocate for our needs. With Venus opposite Saturn at the time of the eclipse, we will need to set some boundaries.
Speaking of Venus, it’s still in Leo and preparing to turn direct on Sunday, September 3, after a 40-day retrograde period. During this time, we needed to reevaluate our relationships as well as the things we invest time and money on. (Venus is also a money planet, after all.) What have we learned? Have we been taking ourselves seriously? Do we know our value and worth?
Something to reflect on this weekend, especially Sunday when the Moon arrives in Taurus.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for September 2-4, 2023.
