We’ve got a packed week ahead. It’s not just the week of a solar eclipse, but Pluto changes directions, and Mars arrives in Scorpio. We’re standing in the threshold of something new. With Pluto and Mars as two of our guides, an ending is a beginning.
Let’s break things down.
Every six months we have a set of eclipses. It tells us that one symbolic hour has ended and another has begun. The signs that the eclipses fall in “color” the hour. We live the following six months through the archetype of the signs. Remember, astrology is the energy of time and how we live time.
With the October 14 solar eclipse in Libra, the sign of relationship and connection, only days away, we’re straddling two different symbolic hours. The last six months are quickly coming to a close. A new chapter and everything it entails is only a turn of the page.

It’s not just the eclipse this week. Although that is plenty. Pluto also turns direct at 27 Capricorn on October 10 followed by Mars in Scorpio on October 12. Plus, Venus opposes Saturn on October 10. What this means is that we’re in a week that has the potential to change, transform, turn us in a new direction, get us to take things seriously, and make a major decision.
