The Cancer Moon brings us to the last-quarter moon, a time to look towards the future. With a solar eclipse only a week away, we’re also waiting in the wings for a new beginning. Through it we will live the next six months through the lens of Libra — relationships.
Relationships come in so many different forms, although we have a tendency to think of them mostly pertaining to our romantic relationships, or lack thereof. Sure, there will be those who will be focusing on existing romantic partnerships in the coming months. Others will feel inspired to make new connections in the new year.
But, let’s not forget that next week’s solar eclipse on October 14 is a South Node eclipse. The South Node brings us to the past. It’s not just relationships, but our past history and patterns with relationship. It’s where we lose ourselves to others, where we cast aside our desires for the desires of others, where we lose our power. Relationships are complicated. And so there may be something we have to disentangle ourselves from.
