It’s the dark of the moon, the time in the lunar cycle to go within, to rest, to consult our inner oracle. On the cusp of Halloween, the spirit world is close. It’s a day to light a candle and reflect on our departed loved ones, but also connect to our highest guidance.
The days before the new moon typically creates a very still energy unlike, for example, the days around the full moon. It’s easier to hear and feel the most subtle of presences because there’s less “noise”. Perhaps it’s a whisper of a voice, a nudge in a certain direction, or a realization that creates an inner illumination.
Inner illumination, that spark of awareness or a lightbulb that goes off, is actually not intuition. Instead it comes from an alchemy of energy that creates consciousness. Intuition is a feeling or a vision. Consciousness, however, is a profound sense of awareness that can transform how we think.
Keep this in mind as Mercury in Scorpio makes an opposition to Uranus in Taurus today. There’s an electricity in the air that may help us open up to see ourselves or see a situation differently. As an evolutionary planet, Uranus is the spark. Mercury is now we think, listen, and learn. It’s also the choices we make. Be open to radical insights and ideas that challenge the status quo.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for October 31, 2024.
