Mars in Scorpio links up with Jupiter and Saturn, a Grand Water Trine that opens doors as well as our hearts. Jupiter inspires and helps us to have faith. Saturn creates stability and reliability. It’s a day for commitments and making our feelings real.
We have some movement in the sky today. Mercury arrives in Sagittarius for a three-week stay, a sign where the planet of ideas and information mixes with Sagittarius’s talent for storytelling and grand vision. This is a Mercury of intelligence and worldliness but also one of opinions.
Classically speaking, Mercury is not at home in Sagittarius, the sign of its “detriment”. Mercury loses some of its flexibility in Sagittarius and can sometimes get stuck in its own beliefs, a blindspot we will all have to take notice of while Mercury is in Sagittarius.
Further, Mercury will turn retrograde at 6 Sagittarius on November 9, which means that we have karmic work to do in Sagittarius. Mercury Retrograde is always a time to retrace our steps, to reveal and uncover from a new point of view. There’s a lesson to be learned, something we missed perhaps, and from a new point of view we can reevaluate our choices.
We may need to ask ourselves while Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius … Am I being open minded enough? Am I taking in consideration the perspectives of others? What stories am I telling? Do I need a new story?
Mercury will be retrograde November 9-29, 2025, 6 degrees Sagittarius to 20 degrees Scorpio.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for October 30, 2025.
