Mercury, on its way out of Libra, makes a square to Pluto, an aspect that can make for sharp or even revealing conversations. If Mercury is the planet of voice and the mind, we need to work to see beyond the surface, to examine our deeper motivations.
As you may know, we’re only a couple of days out from a solar eclipse in Scorpio. The energies are a bit weird at the moment. More importantly, we’re in that liminal space between the eclipses, a vortex where events and encounters feel fated. Decisions feel permanent. Indeed, the choices we make during an eclipse often are. We’re on the cusp of a few planets changing signs or directions, which adds to the sense that things are shifting and moving this week. Tomorrow Jupiter returns to Pisces, a sign that it was last in from May 13 to July 28, 2021 and December 28, 2021 to May 10, 2022.
Mercury will also leave Libra for Scorpio on October 29, a place where Mercury puts its detective hat on. And then Mars turns retrograde in Gemini on October 29, which means that we’ll be working through our relationship with Mars — action, drive, anger, will — over the next few months.
