Yesterday’s solar eclipse is still with us; its powerful energies bringing us into a new space of time. But things are still taking shape and form. We’re in the powerful interstice between one chapter and another. People are coming in and out of our lives.

As much as we want to look at this eclipse as one moment in time or one moment in the year, it’s actually connected to a larger story — one that’s tied to the previous eclipses in November 2021 and April-May 2022 as well as tied to Uranus’s arrival in Taurus in May 2018, March 2019.

That’s the thing about astrology. It measures time, our relationship with time, how time unfolds, and the quality of time that we live and evolve through. Eclipses are powerful punctuation points.

With Venus tightly conjunct the solar eclipse, a lot of what we’ll experience will be through the lens of relationships, especially the deeper inner emotional work to free ourselves from toxic relationships and uses of power. Saturn square Uranus wants us to break the pattern.
