Mars in Gemini squares off with Neptune in Pisces, one of three squares that takes us into the new year. If Mars is action and desire, then we have to align these actions and desires with the needs of something greater than ourselves to find peace within.
It’s a tall order. But that’s the thing about Neptune. As an evolutionary planet, Neptune doesn’t work on the level of the self or the ego. It pushes and demands that we transcend ourselves. And while Neptune doesn’t pack the same punch as Uranus and Pluto, two other evolutionary planets, it is nonetheless a powerful force.
So, what’s Mars to do? Normally it fights. It can get impatient and hotheaded. It wants something right away. It can get caught up in pride and ego. Neptune has other ideas.
Located over in Pisces, a sign it’s occupied since 2012, Neptune brings us to the end of the zodiac. Pisces is the bridge between this world and the next world, this life and the next life. It’s where we have to surrender our earthly wants and desires in order to return back to Source.
Again, Neptune wants us to transcend the pointless battles that we wage with ourselves and others, especially the needless suffering that comes out of illusions, projections, or falsehoods.
At the end of the day, does the fight really matter? Can we make different choices?
The next two Mars-Neptune squares are November 19, 2022 and March 14, 2023.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for October 13.
