The Moon trades Sagittarius for Capricorn, fire for earth. It’s a day to focus on the practical as well as sorting through our to-do list. It’s also a reminder that we officially have four weeks until Saturn leaves Capricorn. The bar is still set high for us.

Yes, Saturn is getting ready to leave Capricorn and, as we get into December, I’m calling it our “Saturn in Capricorn exit interview”. Which is to say, it will be a time when we will see the results of our hard work since January 2018.

Saturn in Capricorn was always about setting a higher bar for ourselves. It was about accountability as well as creating new structures, new disciplines, and new goals. But the presence of Pluto, also in Capricorn, has also meant the last few years have been about tearing down as much as it has been about building up. So, think of the coming weeks as a test of what we’ve built, what we’ve rebuilt, and how we’ve matured, set boundaries, and stepped into new roles. (For a refresh, read Saturn in Capricorn: Accountability.)

That said, Mercury also opposes Uranus today. Information may shock, surprise, or awaken. Ideas may illuminate. It’s a day to say things one would normally keep to one’s self. How do we get out of the boxes we create for ourselves and others?
