Now that it’s Gemini Season, make sure you’re not getting your signals crossed. Between Mercury’s upcoming retrograde and a square to Neptune, things may not be what they seem. Throw in eclipse energy, and things may be a little bit dramatic, too.
So many things happening in the sky right now. Yes, we’re on the edge of Mercury turning retrograde. Yes, next week is a lunar eclipse. Yes, it’s now Gemini Season. Let’s not forget that Saturn turns retrograde on May 23 in a square to Uranus.
First, let’s zoom out a little bit. Saturn’s been in Aquarius since December 17, a sign that it will remain in until March 2023. That long stretch of time, not uncommon with Saturn, reveals that we’re working on building or strengthening existing community and friendship, systems and networks over the next two years.
Saturn’s retrograde turn is a check in on this work. To be fair, we got a preview of this story when Saturn first dipped into Aquarius from March 21 to July 1, 2020. But when Saturn came back to Aquarius, it started make a powerful square to Uranus in Taurus. What this has meant is that 2021 has been and will continue to be a year where the proverbial tectonic plates are moving. It’s as if we have one foot in a new life, one foot in an old one.
