We have a busy start to the week with a Moon in Gemini, one that brings us things to do and places to go. Mercury is in Gemini now, too, alongside Uranus in Gemini. Be open to new ideas and new horizons. Uranus in Gemini brings unexpected options.
Mercury isn’t the only planet on the move. Today both Venus and Mars change signs, Venus entering Cancer and Mars entering Taurus. When planets change signs, they switch up the narrative. And so it may be a week where the narrative changes, especially on the heels of the May 16 Taurus New Moon.
If Venus is what we love and invest time and money in, then in Cancer we love home and family as well as the comforts of the familiar. If Mars is what motivates us, then in Taurus we’re motivated by our material lives and our emotional needs around safety, stability, and security.
While Mars is traditionally not at home in Taurus, we can use its energies to connect to the pleasures of life. Mars in Taurus loves the finer things in life as well as good food and comfort. Mars will be in Taurus until June 28, 2026. (Read Mars in Taurus: Sign by Sign.)
Something to note. As I mentioned in my write up on the Taurus New Moon, we’re in a lunar month that puts us three months after the February 17 solar eclipse and three months before the August 12 solar eclipse. The next four weeks are a crossroads, one that brings into focus the changes that were seeded back in February, and one that may be presaging changes to come in August. For those, in particular, who are Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio, it will likely be a pivotal month.
