Jupiter, now in Taurus, makes a tense square to Pluto in Aquarius, an energy of reformation and transformation. We may feel like we’re pushing up against something. There’s a tension around value and worth. We’re working to bring something into manifestation.
This is a dynamic square that brings us further into the Pluto in Aquarius era. While Pluto is only in Aquarius for a few months in 2023, leaving to return back to Capricorn on June 11, this has been a preview of sorts, our first few experiences that take us into the next 20 years, the length that Pluto will be in Aquarius. (Read more about Pluto in Aquarius in my sign-by-sign guide.)
Pluto is power — the power to reform and transform, the power to tear something down and start over, the power that is either constructive or destructive. As an evolutionary planet (a category of planets beyond Saturn), Pluto’s job is to get us to grow and evolve by any means possible.
It may take a little bit to see what this square is all about. After all, it’s the dark of the moon; things are not in full view at the moment. We’re winding down, pulling back, and going within. But after the Taurus New Moon on May 19 followed by Mars’s arrival in Leo on May 20, we may see some tense energy as we go into the weekend and beyond.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for May 18, 2023.
