Another Sagittarius Moon day. Another day to seek and explore, to meditate on big ideas and philosophical questions. We may also be focused on financial matters, taking practical steps around spending and investment or making plans for future security.
Let’s note that Taurus (and Scorpio) are financial signs. At the minimum, this is a season to review our material needs and the resources we have available. With the energies of the Scorpio Full Moon still in effect, it’s a day to strategize with our finances and resources. It’s little wonder that Scorpio rules over insurance and benefits as well as estate planning and legacies.
That said, a Sagittarius Moon picks up on Jupiter in Gemini. If you recall, Jupiter is coming to the end of its time in Gemini and will arrive in Cancer on June 9. Before it does so, Jupiter squares the Lunar Nodes in Pisces and Virgo. The exact square will be on May 18, but it is an energy with us presently.
Jupiter square the Lunar Nodes is a call for us to examine our faith. This doesn’t have to be the faith of religion … it could be our faith in ourselves, our faith in the world, our faith that something better will come, our faith that our vision will become a reality. If not faith, then a need to reflect on our beliefs and any sticking points around how we are receiving information or communicating our ideas. There’s always a karma to work on when a planet is square the Lunar Nodes.
