We start the week with a Scorpio Moon, a checkpoint for a recent solar eclipse. We may feel like we are at a crossroads today. With Jupiter about to turn direct, we may be in a philosophical mood as well, seeking meaning and purpose to life’s greater questions.
The February 17 Aquarius solar eclipse at 28 degrees will be a point in the sky that we will keep revisiting over the next five months. Events will build around it, revealing themselves at predictable points. We will just have to be on the lookout for planets that reach 28 Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio. These points will build something called a cross, four points in the circle of the sky that trace an invisible square.
In astrology, the square is the energy of matter and manifestation. Which is to say, things will manifest around these four points — 28 Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio — even if what manifests is an emotional realization and connection.
Today the Moon crosses from Scorpio to Sagittarius, briefly reaching 28 Scorpio. The Moon moves quickly, so this is a more ephemeral connection, but one that may underline something about our experiences this Monday. (Mars, for example, will get to 28 Taurus around June 27, 2026, activating the eclipse degree. Events may follow.)
That said, Jupiter is about to turn direct tomorrow, March 10, at 15 degrees. Jupiter has the ability to move and inspire us, but can also amplify existing issues. In Cancer, there’s an emotional component to our experiences this week. Jupiter in Cancer wants fulfillment, especially the people and experiences that will fill our proverbial cup.
