We close out the week with a Moon in Capricorn, one that pushes us to build and to focus on our responsibilities. It’s a day to get things done, especially anything that sets us up towards our goals.
When we look for the ruler of the Capricorn Moon, we find it over in Aquarius, where it’s been since December 2020. It’s worth reminding ourselves that we have a year left of Saturn in Aquarius, a sign that has been teaching us about friendship, community, and social connection as much as it’s been about humanity, society, and social issues. (Read more about Saturn in Aquarius: Building Humanity.)
Saturn in Aquarius has also been about systems, whether social systems or personal systems. Our work has been to shore things up and put our many systems back into order and balance.
The Moon travels between Capricorn and Aquarius this weekend, between work and duty and friends and community. Nevertheless, it’s a weekend to focus on what’s real, taking the spark and initiative of Aries and using it to build towards the future.
Mercury also changes signs on Sunday, arriving in Aries after an interesting time in Pisces. In Aries, however, Mercury finds its speed and instinct. It tends to speak first and ask questions later. Nevertheless, things will start to move quickly.
I’m hosting a virtual Aries New Moon Circle on March 31 at 8 pm EDT. In it, we’ll be connecting to the energies of Aries, creating sacred space, and envisioning how we want to use this energy of renewal in a guided meditation. If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for March 26-28.
