Last day of the astrological year. A journey comes to an end. We revisit a space meant for reflection as well as preparation. With emotion, we are carried by the waters of Pisces and the Pisces Sun. The fire of a new cycle and a new year waits in the wings.
29 Pisces is the last degree of the sign as well as the entire zodiac. On an esoteric level, it is a space where we reach the finality of life — one fish swims in one direction, one fish swims in the other direction. The two fishes of Pisces represent the ultimate duality of creation, that life is both physical and non-physical, matter and spirit.
In this part of the zodiac, the veil is thin. Perhaps we have a fear of what lies beyond the veil. Or, we are ready to pull it back and travel into the unknown, surrendering ourselves to Pisces’s cosmic ocean.
We’re also still in the energies of yesterday’s Pisces New Moon. (Read my Pisces New Moon report.) Even though a new astrological year is on the horizon, one that commences with the Sun’s arrival in Aries, we will still have one foot in the liminal dream space of Pisces.
