We’re not only in the last week of Pisces Season, but we’re in the last week of the astrological year. With so much emphasis on Pisces as well as today’s Sagittarius Moon, we’re thinking and feeling into life’s bigger questions. Do we have the answers?
Yes, in the eyes of astrology, the year doesn’t start on January 1. It actually starts with the Sun’s arrival in Aries, which marks the vernal equinox here in the northern hemisphere. This year, the equinox begins on March 20 at 5:24 pm ET.
If Aries is the alpha, the energy of renewal and new beginnings, Pisces is the omega and the quiet fade in preparation. This week is meant to be a time of reflection, not unlike the reflection we do that last week of December. How could I have done things differently? What are my hopes and wishes for the coming year?
This is going to be a heck of a new astrological year. On one hand, we have Saturn now in Pisces, a sign that pulls at the edges of our reality and opens us up to whatever lies beyond. On the other, we’ll begin to have eclipses in Aries and Libra, starting with an Aries New Moon solar eclipse on April 20 — yes, just a month away. An Aries eclipse brings in the new and strikes us off on new paths.
But it is Pluto’s first arrival in Aquarius on March 23 that will be the headliner for the new year, a sign that Pluto has not occupied in over 200 years. While it will take Pluto until 2024 to fully arrive in Aquarius, what we can glean is that 2023 and 2024 are transition years, ones that will take us into a new era.
To get you all ready for Pluto in Aquarius, I’m doing another 2.5 hour webinar on Wednesday, March 29 that will cover all the important points and go sign-by-sign into all the possibilities for Pluto’s evolutionary energy. Learn more and register for Pluto in Aquarius: A New Era.
That said, today’s Sagittarius Moon gets deeply philosophical. And with Jupiter and Chiron still near each other, we may be feeling into some tender spots and emotional pain points. We still have an opportunity to heal and let something go.
