An Aries Moon spices things up, inspiring and motivating us to move and make plans for the future. It also presages the April 8 solar eclipse. We may get a preview, a clue, an insight into the events to come or the events seeded with next month’s eclipse in Aries.
We’re in Pisces Season and at the end of the zodiac as well as the astrological year. But we also have one foot in Aries Season, the alpha to Pisces’s omega, two halves of a whole that bridge together. Mercury is now in Aries, a thread into a new cycle, an inspiration to think of new ideas and directions.
The magic of the eclipses is that sometimes they happen a month before, when a planet, most often the Moon, reaches the degree of the eclipse. Yesterday, the Moon reached 5 degrees Aries, the point opposite the Libra lunar eclipse of March 25. Today it reaches 19 degrees, the degree of the April 8 solar eclipse.

Venus is also in Pisces, joining a sign already crowded by the Sun, Saturn, and Neptune. If Venus is what we love and what we invest time and money in, Venus in Pisces values the spiritual and transcendent, it invests in beauty and art, it loves unconditionally. In Pisces, in traditional terms, Venus finds its exaltation, which is to say, a sign where Venus can do its best work.
