An Aries Moon picks up support from the air of the Gemini Sun. As we round out the lunar month, we’re looking towards the future, sketching out plans for the weeks and months to come. It’s also a day to spend with friends and community.
As mentioned yesterday, Venus and Jupiter align today, a conjunction at 25 degrees of Cancer. (If you are able to look to the western sky after sunset, provided the sky is clear, you should see both Venus and Jupiter together.) Traditionally this is considered a very beneficial aspect, one that can bring good fortune or acts of grace.
Personally, I like to be more grounded in talking about Venus and Jupiter. Yes, Jupiter in particular can coincide with windfalls and generosity, but it’s important to understand the role of Jupiter as a planet, which is to inspire us to look and travel beyond ourselves. This may be through knowledge and education or long distance travel or even faith.
Venus is what we value as well as our capacity to connect, negotiate, and compromise with others. Venus and Jupiter combined may be the inspiration to invest in travel or our education, to build our lives with the support of loved ones.
So, we may be feeling this energy as a desire for more in our lives. In Cancer, this may be a dream of having a new home or to start a family or to feel safe and secure in all our needs.
Note that this is the last time that Venus and Jupiter will join in Cancer for another 11 years, until 2037.
