Mercury in Gemini squares the Lunar Nodes, a crossroads that creates a portal, a ripple in time that echoes both the eclipses of March and the eclipses to come in September. Conversations may feel fated. Information may open doors. Choices matter.
Since January 11, the North Node has been in Pisces and the South Node has been in Virgo, two points always exactly opposite one another. The Lunar Nodes are not physical bodies, like a planet. Instead they are points in the sky that act like a current of energy, an axis of fate. For an eclipse to happen, a new or full moon has to be within a certain degree from the Nodes.
There’s a push and pull between Pisces and Virgo and, as a result, a push and pull between these two signs and us — the push and pull between a search for meaning and purpose, a need to be of service, or trying to find the balance between heaven and earth. For some, Pisces and Virgo are prominent signs. The push and pull is greater.
With Mercury, the ruler of the South Node square the Nodes today, we may have unfinished business to attend to today, something unresolved that needs a more conclusive decision. A mess may need cleaning up.
