We come to a major crossroads in the astrology of this year. Saturn prepares to turn retrograde at 25 Aquarius, a moment in time when our lives take shape, anchor in, and we commit to the path ahead.
Saturn is a planet that you can count on when forecasting for the future. Its direct and retrograde motions, which occur twice a year, are check points in a greater journey of growth and maturity. The days around these points are times to get real, make serious decisions, recalibrate, or end something that’s not working. (Saturn previously changed direction on October 10, 2021, for example.)
Since 2020, Saturn’s been in Aquarius. If Saturn is the planet of lessons, then we’ve been working on our connection to the greater whole, whether through friendships and community or social causes and humanitarian issues or even science and technology.
Tomorrow’s Saturn Retrograde station is a check-in on our progress, especially the lessons that are intrinsic to our own astrology and karmic path. What have we learned? (Not sure what? Get a refresh in Saturn in Aquarius: Sign by Sign.)
Added to all this is today’s Mercury Direct at 26 Taurus. Mercury, the planet of information and ideas, but — more importantly — choice, changes direction in a square to Saturn. We’ve got serious decisions to make. We’re at a turning point. Everything has to add up. Our choices have to be in alignment with our values, powerfully so.
Back in March 2020 I did a webinar on Saturn in Aquarius. You can watch a clip here.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for June 4-6.
