We’re wrapping up Gemini Season. As the Sun begins to leave, it makes a square to Neptune in Pisces, an aspect that can make for a hazy, ethereal vibe. Our dreams may be vivid. We may be more compassionate. Or we may be tired.
The Sun isn’t the only planet getting ready to leave a sign. Neptune is at the last degree of Pisces, having taken nearly 13 years to do so. In comparison, the Sun takes about 30 days to reach the end of a sign. (The last time Neptune was at 29 degrees, for example, was 1861-1862.)
Neptune is a hard planet to pin down. We don’t feel it overtly. As one of the evolutionary planets, which include Uranus and Pluto, its job is to get us to grow and evolve by any means possible. It speaks to a spiritual work, one that sometimes leads us into our own abyss in order to rise or transcend our suffering. At its highest level, Neptune opens us up to unconditional love. But, like all planets and signs, Neptune has a dual expression.
And, so, this may be a day to rise, to transcend, to release, to sublimate a suffering into peace. But also to peer into our own abyss. All in advance of tomorrow’s solstice.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for June 20, 2024.
