We start the week fresh off a Gemini New Moon, one that wants us to plant the seeds for new ideas and creative vision. With aspects to Neptune and a push from Saturn, we may be wondering how we’re going to bring our dreams into reality.
If astrology is the measure of time and how we live time, then Saturn’s recent retrograde, on June 17, is a structural point for the year, a marker where time takes shape and form. We need to start thinking of astrology not just as a flat, linear experience, but one that creates space for us to inhabit — the inhabitation of time and space.
Saturn and the eclipses are the major drivers of time throughout the year.
With that in mind we’re bringing the energies of Saturn into the week. We may be taking on more responsibilities. We may be getting a promotion. We may be getting recognition for our hard work. We may be asked to be a mentor or a teacher … or someone is stepping into our lives as a mentor or teacher. We’re reaching a personal milestone. We’re pushing harder to reach a goal or achievement.
Then there’s the other side of Saturn. Things may feel harder or we’re running up against resistance. Something is out of order and needs our attention. Something demands our integrity and duty. We see the result of where we crossed a boundary or failed to follow through with a responsibility.
Thus is life. But Saturn always gives us an opportunity to put things back in the right way. Use this week’s helpful sextile between Jupiter and Saturn to do just that.
