We’re coming off a Capricorn Full Moon, one that pulled at our hearts and had us asking ourselves deep questions. It was also a reminder that Saturn will be in Pisces for a while. Our physical lives, our material ambitions have to align with our spirits.
Perhaps this is a little esoteric or even technical, but the Saturn-ruled signs of Capricorn and Aquarius are at the opposite end of the zodiac from the “lights” or the “luminary”-ruled signs of Cancer and Leo. The luminaries in astrology are the Sun and the Moon. The Sun gives light, the Moon receives it.
The universe is both non-physical and physical … light and matter … the Sun-Moon and Saturn.
Ideally, Cancer Season is a time for our “cup to run over”, as the phrase goes. Which is to say, to feel emotional abundance. Capricorn helps us to build the cup. Use the energies of the Capricorn Full Moon, which are still with us, to make sure our cup, our physical lives and the structures we build, are sufficiently large enough to capture the light of Heaven.
