The Sun, on its way out of Cancer, has to meet up with Pluto first, a reminder that it’s been fourteen years of Cancer’s face-off with Pluto in Capricorn. Whatever we’re feeling and navigating is likely part of a much larger story, one that began in 2008.
Yes, Pluto’s been in Capricorn since January and November 2008. Feels like another lifetime, honestly. But during this long process of deconstruction and demolition, we’ve seen things irrevocably transform. Capricorn is structure — the personal and collective structure of our lives. Cancer is what fills this structure, whether it’s emotions, memory, dreams, or subconscious desires.
This is one of the last times the Sun in Cancer will oppose Pluto in Capricorn. There’s one more opposition between the two signs in July 2023 before Pluto’s firmly in Aquarius in 2024. Which is to say, this is one of the last times to do the emotional reformation. This could mean releasing something from the past or forging new structures. Use this powerful energy wisely.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 21.
